this famous singer looks back on her terrible battle with cancer

It was a year ago, the singer Rose had to face breast cancer. The 44-year-old artist revealed to the general public in 2006 thanks to her title “The list” at the time confided frankly on her blog: “When the successive confinements were lifted, it was not concerts that awaited me, but breast cancer”, she had written. “I thought I would lose my hair, and become one of those women ‘warriors’, to whom the disease offers a new way of looking at life. One of those women who will seek in themselves an unsuspected strength, discover their vocation or write books called ‘Thank you for this cancer’. Nothing happened as I imagined“, she said. Keren Meloul, whose real name is, also released a book called “The Pink Mountains” on August 25 in which she delivers a poignant testimony about her illness.

Yesterday, Saturday September 17, Rose was the guest of Matthieu Delormeau in “TPMP People”. The singer, who revealed that she had been a victim of cocaine and alcohol addictions in the past, confided in the C8 program about this fight she endured: “I am happy to have tests. When I’m in hardships, I want to die, like everyone else. I had photos when you have your breasts removed, I could have posted them to hurt everyone, for the buzz, I find it a bit out of place“.

Eager to play the card of transparency, Rose continued her story: “What interests me is being honest. It’s not showing pictures. I wasn’t happy when I was in it because I went through hell with the side effects of the treatment. I did not overcome cancer, my cancer was not as dangerous as certain other cancers so my vital prognosis was not engaged”, she explained. “I walked this path. But unfortunately, I sank because hormone therapy is the resting of the ovaries, a violent menopause suddenly, so we lose everything want everything“, she related.
