Legault sees Nadeau-Dubois as his main opponent

(Saint-Ubalde) François Legault agrees with Gabriel Nadeau-Dubois on at least one thing: the electoral campaign can be summed up in a confrontation between “two very different visions”, his own and that of Québec solidaire. He thus identifies him as his main adversary.

During a militant rally in Estrie on Saturday evening, Gabriel Nadeau-Dubois argued that “the campaign in Quebec is more and more a two-way fight” between QS and the CAQ.

“I agree with him that there are two opposing visions, a vision that is more realistic and that takes into account the concerns of Quebecers, and a vision that thinks that money grows on trees, there. , with Mr. Nadeau-Dubois and his orange taxes, ”said Mr. Legault at a press conference on Sunday.

“Where I agree with Mr. Nadeau-Dubois is that there are two very clear visions which clash and which are very different. We at the CAQ think, especially with the current inflation situation, that money should be given back to Quebecers. […] For his part, Mr. Nadeau-Dubois does not give a lot of money to the pockets of Quebecers. He even wants to add orange taxes,” he argued. He added that the green plans of the two parties differ greatly, because that of Quebec solidaire would increase the debt.
