Rugby: first home victory for RC Orléans in Fédérale 1

The ROC wins a first victory with style this season in Federal 1 rugby. The Orléanais beat the Paris University Club (19-0) this Saturday at the Marcel-Garcin stadium for the second day of the championship in front of a good crowd (around 900 people). A week after a defeat against Chartres, RC Orléans is really launching its season.

  • Penalties achieved by Martin Junquet: 25th, 40th, 55th, 64th
  • Test of Romain Lambert in the 56th, transformed by Junquet

“It’s the first game at home, winning was very important. In the locker room we thought we were going to put a lot of heart into the field”, analyzes Bastien Pingeot. Next Sunday, September 215, Orléans will take to the lawn of Servette in Geneva. It will be a big chunk for David Penalva’s players.
