Honda reminds us that the new 2023 Pilot is coming

To end its “Year of the Crossover” in style, quite literally, Honda will unveil the next-generation Pilot this fall. It will arrive on the Canadian market as a 2023 model like the completely redesigned HR-V and CR-V that we have seen in recent months.

Again, two partial images are shown to us in advance in order to give an overview of the front and the back.

Note that this is the TrailSport version, more focused on off-road driving. Honda claims this Pilot will become its toughest SUV ever, with standard off-road tires, steel skid plates, off-road-tuned suspension and a capable four-wheel-drive system.

Moreover, tests have been carried out on terrain and in difficult conditions with the new Pilot TrailSport, as can be seen in other images made public by the manufacturer.

This vehicle is a direct response to the Ford Explorer Timberline, GMC Acadia AT4, Kia Telluride X-Line and Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek, not to mention the Jeep Grand Cherokee L.

Although Honda is yet to reveal the interior, exterior similarities between the 2023 Pilot and the 2023 CR-V lead us to believe the former will have a similar layout to its smaller sibling, with a new center screen that rises to the top of the dashboard and this long horizontal mesh below which cleverly conceals the ventilation openings.

On the other hand, the Pilot is expected to remain one of the most spacious and reliable SUVs in the category, to the delight of families. keep following The Car Guide so as not to miss anything!
