Emmanuel Macron wants to go quickly on the pension reform and repeated it, on the morning of Thursday, September 15, during a meeting with the bosses of his presidential majority, learned franceinfo from some of the participants. “If we wait, we won’t do it more next term”believes the President of the Republic. “What’s the best time?”, he wondered. “Will the French be more ready in four or five months? The Head of State is not convinced.

If he wants to go quickly, Emmanuel Macron, on the other hand, was careful not to tell the elected officials who are going to work on the budget if he had chosen between a pension reform included in the Social Security financing bill (PLFSS ) or a text at the start of 2023.
“It feels like his religion is made”, believes all the same an elected official who thinks that the president wishes to go through the PLFSS. This would save legislative time and, above all, really implement the pension reform from the summer of 2023, as the President of the Republic continues to hammer.
