Classic
The magnificent Château Mourgues du Grès estate, which cultivates its vines organically and biodynamically, is well known in Quebec. Its cuvée Les Galets, in red and white, always offers excellent value for money and a fair expression of the terroir of Costières-de-Nîmes.
Anne and François Collard produce this rosé with a majority of Grenache, a little Mourvèdre and a hint of Syrah. A delicate color precedes a nose that is too.
It opens with very fine aromas of peach and cherry, with also notes of garrigue and flowers. Very dry, with a nice richness that caresses the palate, it shows substance and persistence in the mouth.
Citrus and zest notes bring freshness. A classic rosé from the south of France, it is perfect for a tomato tart, stuffed vegetables, a salad of grilled vegetables.
