Nova Scotia | Man arrested in connection with murder of rapper Pat Stay

(Halifax) A 31-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Nova Scotia rapper Pat Stay, who died after suffering a stabbing attack in Halifax on Sunday.

The police had confirmed that they favored the thesis of homicide following the death of the 36-year-old musician.

Officers were called to respond to an incident involving a stabbing weapon shortly before 1 a.m. on the morning of the tragedy. When they arrived, they found the rapper, injured, on Lower Water Street.

The singer was then transported to a hospital center, where his death was confirmed.

Tributes poured in from the hip-hop community following his passing. Canadian rapper Drake even pointed out that Stay was “one of his favorite rappers”.

Police did not immediately say what charges will be brought in the case.
