A 23-year-old man is in critical condition in hospital after a work accident that occurred overnight from Thursday to Friday in Boucherville, on the South Shore of Montreal.
The accident occurred around 2:45 a.m. in a warehouse on Chemin du Tremblay when the victim fell to the ground while loading a truck.
The young worker was rushed to a hospital, but there are fears for his life, said Mélanie Mercille of the Longueuil agglomeration police department (SPAL).
SPAL investigators have been dispatched to the scene to try to better understand the exact circumstances surrounding this accident, it was added.
