Dance with the stars is back for the 2022 edition. TF1 kicks off season 12 this Friday, September 9 and once again, it promises to be exceptional at all levels. Something to delight viewers who follow this cult program.
A crazy cast and a world premiere
The public can first of all rejoice to see once again personalities from various backgrounds trying their luck on the floor. On the men’s side, we will see the international singer Billy Crawford, known in particular for his hit Trackin’. He will face former judoka (and ex-minister) David Douillet, comedian Florent Peyre and the TikTok star Stephane Legar. Players Theo Fernandez (Les Tuches) and Thomas DaCosta (Axel Teyssier in Here it all starts) will also be there.
The female cast is made up of the singers Anggun, Eva (formerly Eva Queen, sister of Jazz Correia) and Carla Lazzari, French representative at Eurovision Junior 2019. A former Miss has also agreed to embark on this great experience: Amandine Petit (Miss France 2021). Finally, we will find the most followed French influencer Lea Eluias well as the iconic adventurer of Koh Lanta (in 2005, 2018 and 2021) Clemence Castel. The latter also offers a world novelty since she will dance with a woman. “The production left me the free choice to dance with a man or a woman. I had to ask myself the right questions and I had a tendency to want to dance with a woman“, confided the beautiful brunette – who came out last year – to our colleagues from Entertainment TV.
A new jury and three new dancers
There is also novelty on the side of the jury. Exit the beautiful Denitsa Ikonomova and Jean-Paul Gaultier. This year, they are the prima ballerina Marie-Agnes Gillot and Bilal Hassanifinalist of the previous season, who will be responsible for judging and rating the candidates of this edition alongside Chris Marks and Francois Alu. Let’s not forget the dancers who have a heavy task this season, that of training their partner as well as possible in order to offer a great performance during live broadcasts. And for season 12, nine historic professionals are making a comeback: Fauve Hautot, Candice Pascal, Ines Vandamme, Elsa Bois, Katrina Patchett, Christophe Licata, Anthony Colette, Jordan Mouillerac and Adrien Caby. Three newcomers will also be present and, surprise Alizee Bois, the sister of Michou’s companion, is one of them. The two young women will therefore be in competition. The former participant of France has an unbelievable talent was 8 times French dance champion including 6 times in Latin dances, 1 time in standard dance and 1 time in ten dances.
Pierre Mauduythe winner of Who will dance with the stars?MYTF1 program which revealed the auditions to integrate DALSalso joins the adventure, just like Calisson Goasdoue. The latter was also seen on the web show and was the jury’s favorite.
The duets we would like to see
For now, we do not yet know the couples who will walk the floor. But the fans of the program are undoubtedly going there with their prognosis. At the house of Purepeoplewe can already see Clémence Castel dancing with the formidable Fauve Hautot who, like the former candidate of Koh Lanta, never gives up and is not afraid to exceed its limits. After his ex Iris Mittenaere, Anthony Colette could meanwhile learn that he will have to form a new Miss in the person of Amandine Petit. But prohibition to crack this time, because it is in couple. We would like to see Christophe Licata dancing on the arm of the beautiful Anggun, a duo of shock and charm that could well bewitch the jury. And Jordan Mouillerac would form a beautiful “couple” with Léa Elui, just like Adrien Caby with Eva. Finally how to imagine the little young Pierre Mauduy with someone other than Carla Lazzari.
On the men’s side, we would see Katrina Patchett evolve on the dance floor with Billy Crawford in order to make an even more remarkable comeback. There would also be no communication problems between the singer and her since the beautiful Australian speaks English. After having developed Gérémy Credeville last year and having allowed him to reveal himself, we would see Inès Vandamme using his talent again with comedian Florent Peyre. A duo that would be solar.
