The facades of a gay-friendly bar and of France Bleu Picardie have been tagged with homophobic inscriptions.years on the night of Saturday 20 to Sunday 21, reports France Bleu Picardie.

The first registrations were discovered by an employee of this Amiens bar, around 5 am, two hours after closing. Another homophobic message was also written on the premises of the radio, located at the other end of the city.

“This proves that we still have to fight, that there are still people who, through their stupidity, do not understand this. But we will continue to fight. From Tuesday, November 23, we will reopen and we will continue to carry this fight “, reacted Victor Carron, the owner of the bar, annoyed by these acts. He also thinks of leaving the inscription a week or two to highlight the attacks suffered by the LGBT community.

The bar owner plans to file a complaint. He is supported by Thomas Dorez, municipal councilor in charge of the Saint-Leu district. “There is a very powerful camera in the axis of the street which scans the area 360 °. We can hope that it will allow the police to identify the perpetrators and to arrest them”, he reacted.
