(New York) Ottawa’s Gabriela Dabrowski was eliminated at the US Open.

Dabrowski and her partner, Mexico’s Giuliana Olmos, were defeated by Czechs Barbora Krejcikova and Katerina Siniakova 6-3, 7-6(4), 6-3 in the quarterfinals of the women’s doubles in the last Grand Slam of the season .
The Czechs took advantage of the largesse of Dabrowski and Olmos on serve, converting six of the 22 break points they received. Dabrowski and his partner were still opportunistic, with four breaks in seven occasions.
That leaves only Leylah Annie Fernandez to represent Canada at Flushing Meadows. La Lavalloise and her partner, American Jack Sock, will play the mixed doubles quarter-finals later Wednesday.
