In the Tarn, a retirement home organized a helicopter flight for its residents.

Cordes-sur-Ciel, in the Tarn, is a small town of 800 inhabitants. It is one of the most beautiful villages in France. That day, near the football field, it’s helicopter day. A long-awaited moment. “I am 96 years old. I was offered this offer to board a helicopter, I said: ‘With pleasure'”explains Jacqueline.

Thirty-six of the 76 residents of the village Ehpad have registered for this unique experience. Everyone is entitled to an unforgettable 10-minute flight. Ten minutes suspended in the air. For the old people of Cordes-sur-Ciel, the helicopter is a first, so on board, we reassure ourselves as best we can and we stick together before landing. For the retirement home, this project was above all a great opportunity to turn the page after two years of Covid-19. An experience that should also fuel conversations at the retirement home for a long time.
