The band at Dexter Holland will head to Chicoutimi two days earlier and to the Videotron Center in Quebec City the next day, promoter Live Nation announced.
“I don’t know how to put my finger on it, but there is something special about Quebec,” explained guitarist Noodles in an interview with The Press last April. The biggest show we’ve ever done as a headliner in North America, [c’est] to Montreal. »
The trio was to perform in Quebec last winter, but the health restrictions surrounding COVID-19 got the better of their Canadian tour. As planned, Montreal outfit Simple Plan will open for the Californians in 18 cities across the country until November 27. “We know a lot of our Canadian fans have been waiting for this for a long time,” drummer Chuck Comeau said in a statement. We are happy to soon be able to play for them all over the country”.
The Offspring has sold over 40 million albums since its inception in 1984. Tickets for the Canadian tour will go on sale September 9 at 10 a.m. on the Live Nation website.
