Among your blogger’s summer excursions in August: the Vendée. The first idea was to enjoy the famous Puy du Fou with the family, because the place was voted the best park in the world. Once the fun historical journey was over, it was time to discover another treasure of the Vendée: its gastronomy.
Yannick Revel: The only thing I knew about Vendée was its famous brioche. That’s good, I probably found the best address to taste it.
Then brioche, followed very quickly by a glass of Trouspinette, accompanied by a platter of Vendée ham, recognized IGP since 2014. A few kilometers further on, Joseph and Chantal fell in love. The couple is at the head of the Ferme des Costs, a tireless duo that welcomes people passing through their campsite on the farm, and gladly shows their farm.
