These images that made the host of “Questions for a champion” cry

Emotion won over Samuel Etienne this Sunday, September 4. Indeed, the host wrote on his account Twitter. “I’m crying a little this morning”. The reason ? He watched the performance of Oliver Shane Hawkins, the son of historic Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins, who died last March. The 16-year-old was on drums during a concert by the rock band at Wembley Stadium (London) on Saturday September 3. He performed a breathtaking performance, which went around the world, in tribute to his father on the track My Hero.

Images of the father and son were displayed on screens for the stadium to see as the song began. Musicians from around the world gathered including Kourtney Kardashian’s husband, Blink-182’s Travis Barker. The video, shared on social media, has been viewed millions of times on social media.

As a reminder, Taylor Hawkins died in Bogota, (Colombia), on March 25 at the age of 50. The artist had taken antidepressants and opiates shortly before his death. “The Foo Fighters family is devastated by the tragic and untimely loss of our beloved Taylor Hawkins. His musical spirit and infectious laughter will forever be etched in our memories.”announced the American hard rock band in a press release on Twitter. The musician is survived by his wife Alison Hawkins and three children, Oliver Shane, Annabelle Hawkins, (13), and Everleigh Hawkins (8).
