This village is ranked among the most beautiful in France, but it is also remarkable for its craftsmanship, as many crafts are hidden behind the doors of Navarrese and Labourdin-style houses.

Les Arceaux restaurant and bar

Installed in the restaurant for 17 years with his wife, Patrick Rubio de Teran is a true lover of cuisine and local products. He makes it a point of honor to work with the producers of Labastide Clairence and the surrounding area in order to offer gourmet dishes to his customers whom he welcomes throughout the year. The restaurant is not present on the internet, which is a real desire of the owner who wishes as much as possible that his establishment is a warm place, of exchanges and meetings. Do not hesitate to make a phone call to the Labastide Clairence Tourist Office if you wish to take a short tour.

The Pierretoun Asinerie

Frédéric Ducazeau is a true lover of donkeys and has made his passion his profession since within Labastide Clairence, he created this place: the Asinerie de Pierretoun. A farm where you can see donkeys, but also local animal breeds such as the Pyrenean goat or the Gascon hen. You will come across there as well as a lama who is there to maintain the grounds. On his farm, Frédéric offers hikes with donkeys, but also a sale of products made from donkey’s milk or even a chalet to spend one or more nights there. It’s a great place to visit with children, don’t hesitate to go and have a look!
