After reviving the Integra, Acura now intends to tap back into its past to name a new model. Honda’s luxury brand has announced that its very first electric model will carry the ZDX name, a designation abandoned in 2013.

If the name doesn’t ring a bell, don’t worry. The crossover had a very limited release due to its rather controversial, but arguably avant-garde design.
Never mind, this new model is quite important for this brand that continues to look for itself. It will be the result of a joint development with General Motors, which will distribute the costs by using the Ultium electrical architecture of the American giant. The Cadillac Lyriq, with its 340hp single-engine and 500hp twin-engine options, gives an indication of how the introduction of the ZDX will shape up. Acura plans to market it in 2024.
