Father and son in duet. Jacques Dutronc, 78, and his son Thomas, 48, announce this Sunday in the JDD that they will go up on stage together for a joint tour in 2022. Jacques Dutronc has not been on stage since the tour “The old scoundrels” which he had made in 2017 with two other sacred monsters of French song, Johnny Hallyday and Eddy Mitchell.
Summer festivals, including Musilac
The tour “will begin in November 2022, after a launch in April with two dates at the Casino de Paris and the Printemps de Bourges, then a passage through the summer festivals”, specifies the JDD. According to our information, this tour will also pass through the Musilac festival in Aix-les-Bains. They are scheduled on Saturday July 9.
Both ensure that this joint tour is also a way to see each other “more often”. “The goal is to share. I want to sing with him and I will accompany him on the guitar. In his repertoire, we will focus on the period 1966-1969, that of his great classics”, explains Thomas Dutronc.
21 first artists have already been revealed by the organizers of Musilac: Vianney, Angèle, Biolay, -M-, Orelsan, Simple Minds, Zucchero, Calogero … other names must be announced in the coming days. Nearly 70 artists will be present for the 20th edition of the festival, from Wednesday 6 to Sunday 10 July 2022, on the Lac du Bourget esplanade.
