The Deauville American Film Festival kicked off on Friday September 2. In the jury, a discreet but popular woman, Léa Drucker, whom the 13 Hours was able to meet before the start of the event.

Present for the American film festival, she does not hide her joy. “I’m very excited, I’m delighted to see two films a day and discuss it all day. In opening, Call Jane with Sigourney Weaver, a feature film dealing with abortion in the United States. “What happens there is always important”, recalls Léa Drucker. Sometimes President of the Republic, psychiatrist of the DGSE, astrophysicist or woman confronted with the supernatural, the actress plays the roles of a strong woman. “It’s the directors who offer me these characters, I have to have an authority, something that emerges, maybe sometimes even a little harsh. They are independent, intelligent, complex women, it’s interesting to play “, she admits. Characters, but above all an actress, appreciated by the general public.
