Wall Street opens higher, encouraged by US employment figures

(New York) The New York Stock Exchange opened higher on Friday, buoyed by a US employment report that reflected a weaker labor market, giving some investors hope that the US central bank ( Fed) moderate its monetary trajectory.

In early trading, the Dow Jones advanced 0.43%, the NASDAQ index gained 0.61%, and the broader S&P 500 index gained 0.67%.
