At 31, Astrid quit her job in human resources to breed pigs. Six years later, she is at the head of a herd of 250 animals of a very special breed, the mangalitza.
It is a pig from the Hungarian steppes, hairy, covered with a large layer of fat. In Hungarian, mangalitza means “pork with a lot of fat”.
