On June 16, 2019, Marilou Berry published a tender snapshot of the two men in her life. “On your left, a dad for 7 months and on the right a dad for 36 years! Happy birthday my dads! I love you!”, she wrote to, in a way, formalize the fact that she had become a mother and was very happy about it. Despite the happiness of her new life, the daughter of Josiane Balasko admits to having some fears since she took on this new role.
Fears that she rightly evoked during an interview granted to Gala this Thursday, September 1. “With a child, every day is different. Children grow so fast. We don’t have time to get used to something”she confided at first before admitting to having many fears since the arrival in the world of her son: “In any case, we always fear the worst for our children. We are always afraid that they will suffer.” Unfortunately, this fear should not fly away anytime soon and should even get worse over the years, especially when his little wonder reaches adolescence…
Mom different from teenager?
Marilou Berry knows this and that is also why she is aware of the efforts to be made in the future. “Then you also have to let go. You have to give it time to build itself”she admits before assuring that she would not be “the person I am today if I hadn’t been through everything I’ve been through. I was born into a loving home that had the means to educate me. I have a family that had a real culture and open-mindedness. I was very lucky, I never experienced any sexual violence or violence at all. I never experienced very harsh things that many people can experience. in general, I am spared by life”.
Despite everything, this did not prevent the daughter of Josiane Balasko from being the victim of horrible homophobic insults. “Even if I was the victim of grossophobiait strengthened me and built me. It allows me today to have confidence in myself and to affirm things”she assures to conclude.
