This summer, Vouvant returns to his video show on the legend of Mélusine, a musical show projected on the famous portal of his church. Vouvant, the only fortified town in Vendée still preserved and classified as the most beautiful villages in France since 1988. In 2014, Vouvant was elected 8th favorite village of the French out of the 22 villages selected for the program presented by Stéphane Bern. Go and discover this small town of character in the south of the Vendée, you will love getting lost in the typical streets of this village nestled on a hill in the Vendée bocage, surrounded by the meanders of the La Mère river… A hilly and wooded relief, since the town is home to part of the Mervent-Vouvant forest massif, the largest forest in the Vendée department. Vouvant is also a land of legend, it is the land of the fairy Mélusine and its mysteries… On the church gate, the images parade, the gaze clings to these sets of lights which sublimate the character of Melusine. Everything is done to draw you into the dream by creating an atmosphere of softness and mystery in front of the monument steeped in history…
