His speech, in front of a hundred people, was followed with attention. “There are certain visions that I share, on the decline of France, on identity”, says a man. Like him, many are seduced by the ideas of Eric Zemmour.
Eric Zemmour’s meeting with French people abroad also aimed to raise funds to finance a possible campaign. “I meet people who can afford a campaign”, admits the polemicist. Some are ready to pay up to 7,500 euros to Eric Zemmour, in order to “save France”. Outside, some opponents were showing their discontent, being on the same wavelength as Sadiq Khan, the mayor of London. A presence that is not desired in an area where the majority of French people voted for Emmanuel Macron in the 2017 elections.
