the country ravaged by floods

An outstretched hand in the middle of a raging torrent. In the images, we see a man narrowly saved by an army helicopter. From north to south, Pakistan had never experienced such floods. The toll is growing every day and has already exceeded 1,000 dead on Sunday, August 28. In another video, a building is swallowed up in just a few seconds. The roads do not resist either.

Very many houses are completely destroyed, in front of helpless Pakistanis. “We are in a desperate situation, we are exhausted from moving our belongings here or there. All our houses and our village are drowned”, deplores a Pakistani. In the south of the country, a family came to see the damage to their house. Only a straw roof remains. “Look at the state of our house. We are poor. How will my husband build a house now? There is no work. There is not enough money to feed the children. with the cookies. We’re hungry.”says a mother, the water up to her belly.
