A 39-year-old man drowned in Lake Annecy on Sunday August 28. Around 12:40 p.m., he was swimming off Balmettes beach, in the town of Talloires, whenhe sank.
His body was recovered by firefighters. Despite resuscitation attempts by the SAMU, he was pronounced dead by the doctor. A police investigation is underway to find out what happened.
