The left is making its political comeback in disorganized fashion. Gathered in Grenoble (Isère) for their summer days, the ecologists of EELV analyze their heavy defeat in the presidential election. “Some executives already want to rebuild the party in order to compete with La France Insoumise, which has taken the leadership on the left”explains Hugo Capelli, special correspondent in Grenoble. “However, the Nupes is not set aside. A joint event with socialist, communist and rebellious executives has been organized.”
“We felt a lot of complicity between each other and above all the desire to pursue a common adventure, especially in the National Assembly”, continues Hugo Capelli. But can the Nupes go further, until 2024 in the European elections? “Some environmentalists are starting to take a stand. Some are for, others are against, like Yannick Jadot”concludes the journalist.
