Singer Kym Thiriot performed at the Éclat(s) d’été 2022 festival in Gap, this Wednesday, August 24, on the stage of Givaudan park. At the opening of this music festival which is held every summer in collaboration with the radio station Alpes 1, Kym Thiriot performed three of his titles, including an unreleased titled My Cigarette, which will feature on his new EP, due out in October. Yoga teacher, horse riding champion, singer and youtuber (not to mention her notable appearances in a few television series such as Sharif Where Commissioner Magellan), Kym Thiriot excels in many areas. And it’s his famous companion who talks about it the best: Romain Sardou.
A few days ago, the couple, who only make rare appearances in public, showed up at the Ramatuelle Festival. While the son of Michel Sardou was in the middle of a signing session on August 10, he had attended the various performances including that of Francis Perrin in the company of his charming companion Kym Thiriot. They had already appeared together at the Festival three days earlier, when they had come to attend another play: Mary of the Hens by Gerard Savoisien. But this time, it is the young singer who took possession of the stage, in Gap.
A famous singer’s niece
Like the clips for his first two singles, Gulls and If I want, the young singer appeared on stage in a super stylish outfit. And this Gap Summer Tour represented a great opportunity that she would not have missed. The festival attracts more than 8,000 amateur spectators from the current pop-rock scene. Kym’s dancing and energy made the audience very enthusiastic. The 36-year-old artist was well accompanied on the stage at Givaudan Park, as the brilliant Charlie Winston, Diva Faune, Victoria Sio, Stéphane and Maax followed on the set.
If her companion is a famous son of, Kym Thiriot, she is a niece of. Indeed, his uncle is none other than Hervé Cristiani, the author and performer of the 80s hit: He is free Max. It is thanks to him that this accomplished artist has always had the desire to sing, since she was very young. The companion of Romain Sardou, whom he describes as “to be perfect” has been writing and composing on the guitar since he was 14 years old.
