Paris Saint-Germain and Olympique de Marseille are now fixed. The two French clubs involved in the Champions League know their three opponents, after the draw for the group stage in Istanbul, Thursday August 25.
PSG was placed in a rather tough pool. In Group H, the Parisians will notably face Juventus, 4th in the last Serie A, Benfica, 3rd in the last Portuguese championship, and Maccabi Haifa.
Placed in the last hat, Olympique de Marseille did – very – well. The Phocaeans will face Eintracht Frankfurt, Tottenham and Sporting Lisbon. This draw is rather happy for the Phocaeans. They narrowly avoided the group of death, made up of Bayern, FC Barcelona and Inter.
