This is the title of the article I would have liked to read in The dutyinstead of reading that it is “Ukraine that is resisting”.
Indeed, NATO is sending weapons, ammunition, money and soldiers (so-called volunteers) to Ukraine, without forgetting, of course, military training given to Ukrainians, organized since 2014 by Canada in particular!
In this conflict, organized for a long time by the Americans, the Ukrainians are only the sad intermediaries.
So Russia, after six months of war against NATO, not to mention the sanctions it is suffering from the Americans and the Europeans, continues to move slowly, hoping to make the Ukrainians and the Americans understand that it is better negotiate peace, rather than coming to a point of no return. Not only is Russia resisting, but support for its cause continues to grow around the world, particularly in China, elsewhere in Asia, Africa and India, not to mention countries that refuse to take sides.
It is high time that the Americans and the Europeans stop the one-upmanship with their arms sent to Ukraine and finally accept the hand that Mr. Putin has been holding out to them for several years.
