The singer-songwriter will offer an evening of “Nordic covers” on October 20 at the Phi Center, we learn by press release.

The fourth edition of the Immersive Festival of Kultur and Scandinavian and Nordic Art, also called FIKA(S), will take place from October 17 to 23 in different parts of Montreal. On the program: music, cinema, workshops and meetings aimed at “celebrating Nordicity and Scandinavian and Nordic cultures in all their forms”.

Other planned events include the closing party, entitled Stage open to Icelandic talent, with Salóme Katrínet Hugar, on Sunday October 23 at the Sala Rosa. A retrospective of Danish silent films will be presented at the Cinémathèque québécoise, as well as a program of Scandinavian horror films at the Cinéma public. Embroidery, Jacquard knitting, ceramics and Swedish singing workshops will also be offered in various locations across the city, we add.
