The 11th season of Dance with the stars quietly coming to an end. After almost three months of competition, the semi-final took place this Friday, November 19, 2021. Tayc, Bilal Hassani, Michou and Aurelie Pons have given everything to deliver a new great show on the floor of TF1. The four duos each performed a first performance at the end of which the best of them was able to automatically qualify for the final. In the second round, another couple was again saved by the jury. The two remaining pairs clashed during the dreaded face-to-face event where only the public was able to decide between them.
FIRST ROUND
Aurélie Pons and Adrien Caby
During the quarter-finals, Aurélie Pons once again narrowly escaped elimination when he found himself facing Dita Von Teese. But thanks to the votes of the public, the actress has remained in the competition. It is therefore with great determination that she wished to go beyond this new stage. Aurélie Pons danced a Tango on The last days of disco by Juliette Armanet. Denitsa Ikonomova was delighted to finally see a beautiful connection between the pretty blonde and her dancer Adrien Caby despite a problem with the frame. Chris Marques said he was “happy” with the performance of the candidate, however regretting a lack of energy. Finally, the challenge has been met according to François Alu and Jean-Paul Gaultier.
The notes :
Jean-Paul Gaultier: 9/10
Denitsa Ikonomova: 7/10
François Alu: 7/10
Chris Marques: 7/10
Total: 30
Tayc and Fauve Hautot
Last week, Tayc once again amazed the coaches, winning the very first “10” of the season and thus his ticket to the semi-final. The pressure has gone up a notch this Friday evening and it is on a contemporary on the title of Camille Lellouche Does not insist that the singer tried to do better. A very beautiful song that pays tribute to women victims of domestic violence, a subject to which Tayc is sensitive, he who has been surrounded by women all his life. He gave himself 100% on the floor to defend this cause. The message is completely passed and it is “an extraordinary moment“that François Alu lived, truly touched by this moving interpretation. Denitsa Ikonomova can only agree with her comrade and believes that Tayc has just marked the history of the show.
The notes :
Jean-Paul Gaultier: 9/10
Denitsa Ikonomova: 10/10
François Alu: 9/10
Chris Marques: 9/10
Total: 37
Michou and Elsa Bois
For the semi-final, Michou began by rediscovering the very strict codes of Foxtrot. The Youtubeur played romantics with Elsa on the music Because it’s you by Vianney and Mentissa. A way for him to prove how much he has progressed since the beginning of the adventure because this is his second Foxtrot. It is a performance that highlighted the beautiful bond between Michou and Elsa as well as a certain intimacy, points which greatly pleased the jurors. The technique was nevertheless lacking at times putting Michou in difficulty and in the semifinals, difficult not to pay attention.
The notes :
Jean-Paul Gaultier: 9/10
Denitsa Ikonomova: 7/10
François Alu: 6/10
Chris Marques: 6/10
Total: 28
Bilal Hassani and Jordan Mouillerac
Last Friday, Bilal Hassani won two “10” from the judges, moving up to first place in the standings. For this new bonus, there is no question of slackening the efforts especially since it was dealing with a new Latin dance. On the program: a samba enriched with no salsa and afro on the title of Hey mamma of the Black Eyed Peas. And who says Latin dance, says the hips! A problem for Bilal since the start of the season. Indeed, while it delivers exceptional performances, it always sins on this movement in particular. Successful bet for the singer who received the compliments of Chris Marques, who could not fault this completely crazy and intense show that the pair proposed. Denitsa Ikonomova, for her part, noted a few flaws but on the whole she felt that everything was “incredible” just like François Alu.
The notes :
Jean-Paul Gaultier: 10/10
Denitsa Ikonomova: 8/10
François Alu: 8/10
Chris Marques: 9/10
Total: 35
Tayc and Fauve Hautot are qualified for the final at the end of this first round. He will never have known face to face since the start of the season.
SECOND ROUND
Aurélie Pons and Adrien Caby
For her second dance, Aurélie Pons had to perform a Cha Cha with Adrien. His challenge was to show a lot of technique with this fast dance and for which there is always a lot of expectation. During rehearsals, the actress had trouble keeping the rhythm but, being on a good slope, she did not release any effort to try to set fire on stage. Unfortunately, “there are too many errors in the semi-finals for this dance“Directly judged Chris Marques. Loss of timing, approximate connection … The judge was not tender. Denitsa Ikonomova appreciated the madness of Aurélie Pons but could only agree with his colleague when it came to evoking technique, the same was true for François Alu.
The notes :
Jean-Paul Gaultier: 8/10
Denitsa Ikonomova: 6/10
François Alu: 7/10
Chris Marques: 5/10
Total: 26
Michou and Elsa Bois
Michou then danced a samba! In rehearsals, Elsa Bois had taught him the steps of this new dance of love … or rather of flirting. “There for once you have to pack me up“, she repeated to him. On stage, he managed to apply all her advice and appeared as a real Don Juan. The young man thus pleasantly surprised the jury who” kiffé “to use the term of Chris Marques. It must be said that Michou was fully invested in this dance and undeniably made the show. So much so that Denitsa Ikonomova did not hide his desire to see him again next week in the final. Jean-Paul Gaultier was also on board, complimenting the candidate on his energy and solar presence.
The notes :
Jean-Paul Gaultier: 10/10
Denitsa Ikonomova: 7/10
François Alu: 7/10
Chris Marques: 8/10
Total: 32
Bilal Hassani and Jordan Mouillerac
Bilal Hassani concluded this second round with an American Smooth on a revisited version of the title Creep by Radiohead. The opportunity for the singer to once again send a strong message and to pay tribute to all those who feel left out, as he was able to be when he was the victim of harassment. The connection was certainly present between Bilal and Jordan who offered a superb performance, fluid and very smooth. This was “worthy“of a semi-final according to Chris Marques who recognized finesse in Bilal, a very important detail in his eyes. There was poetry for Denitsa and great mastery for François Alu. Jean-Paul Gaultier was also regaled as evidenced by its rating.
The notes :
Jean-Paul Gaultier: 10/10
Denitsa Ikonomova: 8/10
François Alu: 8/10
Chris Marques: 9/10
Total: 35
Bilal Hassani and Jordan Mouillerac are qualified for the final at the end of this second round.
FACE TO FACE AND DISPOSAL
Michou and Aurélie Pons had to face each other during the head-to-head on a Paso Doble. The viewers, alone, decided between these two pairs. Michou and Elsa Bois were saved by the votes of the public. Aurélie Pons and Adrien Caby are therefore eliminated from the competition.
