En Finland, since a video showing the Prime Minister having a big party was broadcast, Sanna Marin has been summoned to explain herself, and even to prove that she had not taken drugs.

A Finnish Prime Minister who parties, dances, sways, enjoying a drunken evening with friends. The video ignites social networks and makes the front page of the international press, even in India. Between the music and the hubbub, some Finns think they hear the word “flour”, referring to cocaine. The controversy is mounting in the country, Sanna Marin is summoned to explain herself.

Pushed by the far-right opposition, the 36-year-old Social Democratic Prime Minister has just taken a drug test. The results will be known in a week. This is not Sanna Marin’s first controversy. She had already been criticized for an evening when she was in contact with Covid-19. This video weakens Sanna Marin at a crucial moment, where she is leading her country on a new path, distancing herself from Russia, and asking to join NATO.
