Ms. Pagé, who has held the position of Chief Operating Officer at the ÉNT since January 2021, will be responsible for pursuing the new vision of openness and inclusion of the cultural institution. Among the challenges ahead, we note in particular the difficulty of recruiting new students in a post-pandemic context and the integration of Aboriginal communities.
“Exciting challenges await us as the theater community recovers from the pandemic and the School continues to evolve while ensuring that the performing arts remain an important aspect of our society,” said the new director. general by press release.
Before joining the ÉNT, Fanny Pagé worked notably for Cirque du Soleil and for Franco Dragone Entertainment Group. During her career, which spans more than 20 years, she has held various positions in show production, operations management and human resources.
She succeeds Gideon Arthurs, who had been in office since 2014.
