A woman in her forties allegedly stabbed a man after a violent argument occurred near a convenience store in the Saint-Henri district of Montreal.

The altercation between the man and the woman began Thursday shortly before 3:20 a.m. Police officers from the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) located the injured near a convenience store at the corner of the Atwater Avenue and Saint-Jacques Street.
There would be no fear for the life of the 31-year-old victim, who was taken to hospital to treat his upper body injuries.
As for the suspect, a 40-year-old woman, she must meet the investigators in the next few hours.
