The firefighters of Périgueux are called in the early morning, shortly before four o’clock. The kitchen of an apartment on the fourth floor of a building on rue Jean Pages is on fire. Before they arrive on site, the flames are extinguished. The fire therefore did not spread to the rest of the apartment and the building.

Seven people were evacuated from the building before firefighters arrived. The family who was in the apartment was able to be rehoused by the family.
