COVID-19: three new deaths in Quebec

Quebec has reported three additional deaths related to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

This is a decrease compared to the last few days (18 deaths recorded on Friday, 10 on Thursday and 19 on Wednesday).

Since the start of the pandemic, 16,129 Quebecers have lost their sight due to the virus.

The province also recorded 713 new infections among people with access to PCR tests, while 213 self-tests have come back positive since the day before.

Data concerning provincial hospitalizations and intensive care are no longer counted on weekends by Public Health, but only from Tuesday to Saturday.

Note, however, that the number of hospitalizations reported on Friday fell for a second consecutive day (2000, -56), after two days of increase.

Monday’s report also shows 3,457 health network workers who are absent for reasons related to COVID-19.
