One death due to multiple drug intoxications
Lisa Robin Kelly has had a chaotic personal life. For years, the actress lived under the influence of an abusive husband named Robert Gilliam, with whom she divorced in 2013 after 9 months of marriage. The latter had even accused Lisa Robin Kelly’s boyfriend in the press of having made him relapse into alcohol. Eventually, after investigation in January 2014, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner said that Lisa Robin Kelly’s death was due to multiple drug poisonings which led to an accidental overdose. Indeed, the report unveiled by the medical examiner indicated that the actress of That ’70s Show had been taking medication that was supposed to help him overcome his addiction to alcohol. A few months later, in June 2014, the heirs of the deceased had filed a complaint with the Superior Court of California against the rehab center where the actress had been admitted. They described the center’s professionals as “negligent owners, bad managers and operators.”
