A 25-year-old woman was found injured at the scene.
SPVM patrol officers soon located a vehicle they deemed suspicious, in which several people were seated. They all fled on foot, which triggered the police deployment in the neighboring city of Montreal East.
In order to help the police carry out their operation, the SPVM asks the population to avoid traveling in a vast quadrilateral of Montreal-East between Henri-Bourassa Boulevard, to the north, the Metropolitan Highway , to the south, Broadway Street, to the west and Marien Avenue, to the east.
