The 32-year-old Slovak tested positive for MRSA S-22, a synthetic substance that can copy the effects of testosterone, in June during a second-rate event in his native country.
Martin, whose highest world ranking was 93e step in 2020, occupied the 191e world rank at the time of his positive test. He has a career record of 27-38 and has lost in every Grand Slam qualifier this season.
The ITIA said Martin was suspended and unable to attend tournaments while the case was being assessed.
