All summer, the gendarmerie increases its controls on the roads of Mayenne. This weekend, the soldiers of the Mayenne departmental road safety squadron noted 48 speeding offenses including two large excesses for offenses of more than 40 km/h above the authorized speed.
They also found 9 offenses related to the consumption of alcohol and narcotics. Six drivers had their driving license suspended immediately.
Since the beginning of the year, eleven people died in road accidents in Mayenne.
