His house was pulverized in a strike that targeted Islamic Jihad military leaders. Israeli bombardments, intense for 48 hours, have claimed at least 41 Palestinian victims, including many civilians, according to local authorities.
The strikes continued into the night, and reportedly hit a residential building. “We were sitting in the street, and suddenly we saw an explosion. We ran, we took the children to the cars, because there was no ambulance”says a man.
Six children died in the clashes, victims of the bombardments of the Jewish state according to the Palestinians, which the Israeli army disputes. In two days, 600 rockets were fired at Israel, almost all of them intercepted by the air defense system. Even the surroundings of Jerusalem were targeted.
