Work to create an emergency lane on departmental road 1091 has been completed. The road that had been cut off since Thursday August 4th has now been reopened to traffic in both directions since Friday evening August 5th.
The road had collapsed due to water infiltration. The Department of Isère quickly launched a project to build a road parallel to the RD1091, six meters from the damaged track.
The vice-president in charge of roads for the Department of Isère, Bernard Perazio, will provide an update on this reopening this Saturday August 6 live in the 7 a.m. newspaper.
