The list of finalists for the Prix Jeunesse des booksellers was unveiled on Thursday, revealing the 24 books that have carved out a place among bookstore favorites.
Twelve Quebec books were chosen from four categories (0-5 years, 6-11 years, 12-17 years and comics). Among these, the comic Truffle, by Fanny Britt and Isabelle Arsenault (La Pastèque), the novel for adolescents Anxious trash, by Sarah Lalonde (Leméac), as well as the children’s album Matchstick soup, by Patrice Michaud and Guillaume Perreault (Fonfon).
