Despite the pandemic, the sound and light show on the Martigné-Ferchaud pond has lost few volunteers. As D-Day approaches, the whole town is mobilized.
“Many people, more than we thought, wanted to participate again. They are in a state of lack because it must be recognized, there is a good atmosphere”, Jean-Michel Aussant the organizer of the festival
850 volunteers mobilized
Nathan lives in Martigné-Ferchaud, and this year again, he is part of the organization. He is a technician, and also provides the show on stilts. He has participated in the Etincelles Aquatiques since he was very young “jI started at two, I’m 21 now. Here, it’s a tradition, you can’t miss it. Three years without a show, it was hard“, he confides.
The show is made up of 33 paintings, it evokes the site of La Roche aux Fées, a Neolithic dolmen located in Essé (Ille et Vilaine). But the organizer insists:it is not a historical fresco, but rather a magical spectacle.“
The Aquatic Sparks occur every evening until Saturday August 6th inclusive. Opening of the site at 7 p.m., show at nightfall. On reservations. Prices from €17 for an adult, €10 for a child.
