A big collection was organized for the Guidotti family. The latter saw her entire life go up in flames at Aubais (Guard).
Tuesday, August 2, residents ofAubais (Gard) left objects and donations all day long for the family who lost everything in the fire, the Guidotti. “It feels good to see such a surge of solidarity. It gives balm to the heart and it makes you want to start all over again”, explains Justine Guidotti. The inhabitants gave furniture, toys, money, everything to rebuild after having lost everything.
“We don’t even ask questions, it’s natural, it’s innate. You have to help your neighbor”, explains a woman. The organizer of the collection is, meanwhile, surprised by the enthusiasm: “I didn’t expect to find so many.” And it does not stop there, the couple receives dozens of messages of support, and, already, the proposals for relocation are multiplying. “I would like to thank all the people who donated”said Sébastien Guidotti, moved.
