With her world tours and above all, her shows in residence at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Celine Dion has collected revenues of 1.743 billion. In total, the diva of Charlemagne sold 10,906,984 tickets, reveals the American publication, which compiles this data since July 1980.

Published on July 25, the ranking is dominated by two rock groups: the Rolling Stones and U2. Mick Jagger’s formation sits at the top with 2.796 billion in revenue (for 22,137,800 tickets sold), while Bono and company come second with 2.738 billion (for 26,178,000 tickets sold).

Elton John and Bruce Springsteen follow with 2.249 billion and 1.965 billion respectively.

Madonna completes the top 5 with 1.788 billion. The Material Girl and Celine Dion are also the only two women who appear in the top 10 of the charts, made up of big names like Bon Jovi, Metallica and Paul McCartney. The closest is Beyoncé, who is in 15e position.

Celine Dion could improve her ranking when she returns to the stage. The interpreter of For you to love me again has not performed since March 2020. The COVID-19 pandemic forced her to postpone her tour Courage, then last fall, muscle spasms forced her to postpone her new residency show at Resorts World Las Vegas. In the spring, these same health problems forced her to postpone the European portion of the Courage World Tourwhich she was to give this summer.

In May, the promoter of Celine Dion’s concerts in Las Vegas, AEG Presents, told The Press that he kept the hope that she could go back on stage before the end of the year.
