They will have to resist the temptation. Visitors to the annual Hong Kong World Food Expo will not be allowed to remove their masks to sample the food on display at the booths. The event organizer announced this on Tuesday, August 2, explaining that the decision was made due to the Covid-19 pandemic and current public health restrictions.
“We understand that visitors want to taste the samples”said Sophia Chong, acting boss of the Trade Development Council, which organizes the show.
“We hope to be able to resume this arrangement after the pandemic, when it is safe and hygienic to do so.”
