Brad Pitt is back on the screen in an offbeat action movie, “Bullet Train”, which comes out Wednesday, August 3. He plays a hitman ready to do anything to recover a briefcase. A role he embodies wonderfully.

From Paris to Berlin, this summer, Brad Pitt arrives in Europe as a star, for the presentation of a film which takes place on the other side of the world, in Japan. In Bullet Train, between Tokyo and Kyoto, Brad Pitt plays a hitman whose trip does not go as planned. Five sinister assassins find themselves on the same train, ready to do battle. His bad luck and his loser side will pursue him throughout the film.

A wacky action comedy, with an actor at the height of self-mockery. “We shot this film in full confinement, before we were vaccinated. In these dark times, it was the kind of film we needed, that’s why I wanted to do it”, he explains. Between humor and stunts, this role seems tailor-made for Brad Pitt. “I was dying to work with Brad. When he read the script, I felt he was like ‘oh my God, I’m never going to be able to do this’. And then finally he said to me ‘here we go'”says the director, David Leitch.
