During the eight long months of his wife’s absence, Albert of Monaco did everything to be a present and caring father with their young children: Crown Prince Jacques and his sister Princess Gabriella (soon to be 7 years old). In a new interview with Monaco-Morning this November 18, 2021, on the eve of Monaco’s National Day, Prince Albert returned this decision. He explains that his children did indeed return to FANB (the Institution François D’assise-Nicolas Barré) in September but, concerned about the evolution of the coronavirus pandemic, they decided with his wife to protect them by educating them at the palace.
“We transposed a small FANB classroom at the Palais, in the old nursery of my childhood, which had since become a sports hall., explains the son of Prince Rainier and Grace Kelly. The prince adds that Jacques and Gabriella “are surrounded on a daily basis by four other comrades who also follow their lessons at the Palais“.
